Naomi (North) Hrmon [i.e., Harmon]

Naomi (North) Harmon, 81, of Lafayette died early Sunday morning, September 5, 2004 in Lafayette Home Hospital. She had resided in Regency Place Nursing facility for the past two years.

She was born February 9, 1923, in Brookston to Dwight E. and Florence (Hawkins) North. She graduated from Brookston High School in 1941. She had moved to Lafayette in 1848 [sic], where she lived the rest of her life.

Her marriage was to Kenneth C. Harmon on July 4, 1941 in Idaville. He died January 29, 1993.

She was a homemaker. After her children were grown, she worked for JC Penny's [sic] and L.S. Ayres. She enjoyed antiques.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Harmon and David (Betty) Harmon both of Lafayette. She had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston from 6-8 p.m. today. Graveside sevices will be on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Brookston IOOF Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her sister Juanita Morgan in 1995.
