Edward "Ray" Harmon, 86, of Buffalo, died Sunday. September 24, 2000 at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare.

He was born May 20, 1914 in Moran to Allison and Martha Michael Harmon.

He was a farmer most of his life, living in the Monon and Buffalo areas.

He also worked at Sears Roebuck & Co. store in Monticello for several years and at Kroger in Monticello for seven years.

He is survived by sons, Keith Harmon and Jerry Harmon, both of Monticello and Jerry Harmon of Lafayette; daughter Janna Shrock of Logansport; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Wednesday, September 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon.

Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery.

Memorial may be made to American Cancer Society.
