We have received word that Dr. Martin F. Hanson, husband of Lois Jean (Smith) Norris, passed away at his home on December 10, 2003.

Dr Hanson was a physician, practicing in Elwood, Indiana for 40 years.

He also served as a staff flight surgeon as a major in the Air Force during World War II.

Survivors include Lois Jean (Smith) Norris, two children; three step children; four grandchildren and four step grandchildren.

Military funeral services were held on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood.
