Virginia E. "Ginny" Little Hand, 57, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, Aug. 31, at her home, West Lafayette.

She  was born Aug. 26, 1940, in Arkansas and had lived  in West Lafayette, for the last 20 years and the Lafayette area since 1960. She graduated from Tipton High School.

She was an analyst with FFR Cooperative at Battle Ground, for the past two years.  She was a former sectretary at Purdue and for Joe Livesay.

Surviving are her husband, James Hand; a daughter, Leslie Hand, Tampa, Florida; two sons, Matt Hand, Brookston and Howie Haney at home; and her mother Vadie Little, Tipton.

Also two grandchildre, Chris and Amy Hand survive.

No service.  Private family services will be held at a later date.

Hippensteel funeral directors were in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be given to Wabash Center.
