Edna I. Sickler Gwin

Edna I. Sickler Gwin, 80, of Monticello, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.

She was born in Monticello on June 16, 1922 to Cecil and Laura Kellenburger Sickler. She married Rev. Ralph S. Gwin in Guernsey on June 16, 1957. He died on Sept. 4, 1976.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Monticello United Methodist Church and the Helen Wilks Circle.

Survivors include a daughter Esther (John) Danford of Monticello; a step-daughter, Alice (Verl) Wagoner of Delphi; brothers Clyde Sickler, Monticello, Floyd Sickler of Idaville, and Russell Sicker of Chalmers; a sister Alma (V.J.) Fowler of Pennsylvania; six step grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren; and four step great-great grandchild [sic].

Two sisters, two brothers, a stepson and two step grandchildren are deceased.

Services were Monday at Fisher-Voorhis Draper Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Berkshire officiating. Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
