Iva Lucas Slauter Gross, 86, of  507 E. 4th Street, Brookston. died Tuesday, February 8th at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She had been admitted earlier in the day.

She was born in Tippecanoe County on April 23, 1907. Her first marriage was to Ray Slauter. After his death, she married Charles L. Gross on December 13, 1964 and he survives.

She had worked at Purdue University in housekeeping for 5 years and the Brookston Furniture Factory.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Barbara Larimer, Brookston; one sister, Mrs Edna Wilson, Lafayette; two grandchildren. Taminy Bunch, Delphi, and Vance Larimer, Brookston and one great-grandson Bryan Larimer.

Services will be at the Hartzler Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Rev. Lori Blinn Gibson officiating.

Friends may call at the Hartzler Funeral Home from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. tonight.

Burial will be in Battle Ground Cemetery.
