Lucille Grandstaff Griffin, 87, former Brookston resident, died Thursday, May 8, at 3:05 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Lafayette.
She had resided at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi, for three years.
She was born April 5,1910, to Clyde and Dora Baker Grandstaff, near Frankfort.
She graduated in 1928, from Battle Ground High School and had lived in Brookston since 1942. She retired in 1974, from Duncan Meter, Lafayette.
She was a member of the Brookston Federated Church.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Michael J. Barnes, Lafayette and Mrs Don (Elizabeth "Betsy") Kressley, Delphi; a sister, Pearl Wilson, Lafayette and four great grandchildren.
A daughter and two sisters are deceased.
Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Rev. Lelan McReynolds officiating.
Burial was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brookston.
