Adam L. "Spike" Griffin, 61, of Monon, died Friday, March 21, 2003 at his residence.
He was born on September 25, 1941, in Reynolds, to Lloyd M. and Laura Walters Griffin.
He was a 1961 graduate of Wolcott High School. He served as a private in the U.S. Army.
He was a lifetime resident of the White County area.
He was employed for 25 years at Wilson Meat Packing, Logansport, and was retired.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Monticello and Redmen Lodge in Monticello.
Surviving are his mother, of Wolcott; daughters, Karen S. (Dennis) Burcham of Monon and Brema Griffin of Lafayette; a son Lloyd Griffin of Monticello; sisters, Thelma (Robert) Barrett of Wolcott and Velma (Jerry) Spear of Reynolds; and five grandchildren.
A brother and two sisters are deceased.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon with Rev. Steve Birch officiating.
Burial was in Osborne Cemetery, Rensselaer.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
