Virginia Lucille Nulf Stackhouse Graves, 88, of Heritage Healthcare, West Lafayette, a native of Chalmers, died Thursday, Aug. 13, at the health care center, where she was a patient since October 6,1995.
She was born Nov. 15, 1909, to Alfonzo and Blanche Plumb Nulf, in Chalmers. Her first marriage was to Dewey Stackhouse. Her second marriage was to Hubart Graves in 1958 in Tennessee and he survives.
She moved from Battle Ground to Lafayette, where she had lived for 53 years.
She was retired from Loeb Department Store.
Surviving with the her husband are a daughter, Mrs Ralph (Norma) Crowell of Brookston; a son, Robert Stackhouse, of Brookston; two sisters, Amy Anderson, Delphi and Betty Johnson, Lafayette; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Two brothers and an infant sister are deceased.
Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 17, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with Pastor Don Short and Pastor Paul Vogt officiating.
Burial was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
Memorials may be given to charity of choice.
