Helen J. "Hap" Good

Helen J. "Hap" Good, 76, of the Buffalo community, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at her residence.

She was born February 28, 1927 to Marrell and Agnes Hughes Sluyter. She married J. Alvin Good at Reynolds on January 2, 1947. He is deceased.

She had lived in the Buffalo community most of her life and was a graduate of Buffalo High School.

She had worked at Bryan Manufacturing, Monticello RCA plant and P.F.T. in Monon.

She enjoyed fishing, hunting mushrooms, putting puzzles together and playing cards.

Survivors include daughter, Linda (Steve) Carter of Monticello, brothers Donald "Sonny" Sluyter of Reynolds, Richard (Clara) Sluyter of Fort Wayne; sister Norma (Robert) Carr of Sebring, Florida; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Peggy Durham and a grandson, Mike Durham are deceased.

Funeral services were on Friday, October 3, 2003, at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Raderstorf officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Cemetery.
