Gladys C. Glotzbach, 86, a former Brookston resident, died Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at George Davis Manor, West Lafayette. She had resided at the manor for 8 1/2 years.
She was born in Oxford, Ind., on December 16, 1915, to Harvey and Myrtle Dirst Spangler. She married William Glotzbach on June 7, 1939. He died in 1986.
She lived in Earl Park until moving to rural Brookston in 1957.
She was a cook at the Wolcott schools for many years. She also did housework.
She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church of Otterbein. She was a former member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Bridget's Catholic Church.
She is survived by children, Pat (Paul) Loman of Lafayette, Barbara Mathew of Monticello, Mary (Douglas) Ward of Sellersburg and Ronald (Susan) Glotzbach of Fort Wayne, a sister, Margaret Glotzbach of Earl Park; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Three sisters and two brothers are deceased.
Funeral services were Saturday at St. Charles Catholic Church, with Rev. David Rasner officiating. Foster Funeral Home was in charge of the service.
Burial was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
