He was born June 11, 1932 in Barren County, Kentucky to James Logan Glass and Zora Ellen Jennings Glass. He married Joyce Ann Wilson on August 23, 1969 in Brookston and she survives.
He retired in 1993 from Purdue University as a service worker.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Scott Allen Glass of Lafayette; a daughter, Melissa (Jason) Shidler of Lafayette; 3 brothers, Stanley Earl Glass of Lafayette, Rolland Glass and Jack Glass both of Louisville, KY; 2 sisters, Louise Davis and LaVerne Akers both of Glasgow, KY; 2 grandchildren Matthew Bovey and Zachary Shidler.
One brother, Paul Glass, is deceased.
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 22, at Hartzler Funeral Rome, Brookston with Rev. David French officiating.
Burial was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brookston. Memorials can be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Lafayette, IN.
