Ella Mae Blake Getsinger, 90, of Monon died Friday, December 1, 2000, at Mary Bartz Hospice Center in Valparaiso.

She was born on April 8, 1910 in Monon, the daughter of John and Cora Belle Botts Blake. She married Elmer Dennis Getsinger on August 2, 1935 in Gary. He is deceased.

She lived in Gary until moving back to Monon.

She was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Dennis (Jesse) Getsinger of Provo, Utah; a sister Pearle Blake Thrasher of Cape Coral, Florida; grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and friends.

A daughter Kay Getsinger, stepdaughter, Elizabeth Zinn; and sisters, Mazie Herbert, Hilda Blake and Kathryn Hitson are deceased

Funeral service was Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon with Rev. Matt Pickut officiating.

Burial was in Bedford Cemetery.
