Marna Loraine Garwood, 81, of Monon, died Tuesday, October 16, 2001, at Norton Suburban Hospital, Louisville, Ky. She had been ill for two months.
She was born on April 13, 1920, in Minneapolis, Minn, to William Perry and Loraine Brown Iliff. She married Charles Deane Garwood on June 15, 1946, in Goodland. He died Feb. 22, 1974.
She was co-owner of Garwood Airport in Monon for several years, as well as a homemaker.
She was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Town & Country Home Extension Club, and over 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, in Monon and Wolcott, and Twin Lakes Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving are sons Charles D. Garwood, Jr., of Indianapolis, and Robert S. Garwood, of Louisville, Ky.; a brother Russell Iliff of Scottsdale, Ariz., and one grandchild. One granddaughter is deceased.
Funeral services were Saturday at Kellogg Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Pickut officiating.
Burial was in Chapel Cemetery, Monon.
