Maxine Graves Fuller

Maxine Graves Fuller, 82, of Encinitas, California, a former Chalmers resident, died Saturday, Feb. 5, at Manor Care in Encinitas.

She was born May 25, 1917, to Jesse and Mildred McCullough Graves, in Crawfordsville. She was married April 25, 1947, to Maurice Fuller, and he died Dec. 31, 1961. She then married Lester R. Fuller in 1972 and he died Jan. 8, 1988.

She was a homemaker and had moved from Chalmers to California in 1991.

She was a member of the Union United Methodist Church, St. Louis, Missouri.

She is survived by sons, Roger Fuller, Lafayette and Richard Fuller, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif.; a stepson, David Fuller, St. Louis, Mo.; sisters, Helen Alfrey, Syracuse and Virginia Branagan, Crawfordsville; five grandchildren and a great granddaugthter. A brother is deceased.

Funeral services were Thursday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Rev. Gerald Stevens officiating.

Burial was in Chalmers Community Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
