He was born June 11, 1928, to Lewis M. and Clara Marie Sanbloom Fry, in Lafayette.
He graduated from Brookston High School in 1946.
He retired from farming and moved to Brookston in 1991.
He was a former member of Pine Grove Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Janet Fry of Tipton; and five nephews, Herbert A. Fry of Los Alarnos, N.M, Gary Fry of Brookville, Pa., Rick Fry of Boise, Idaho, Scott Fry of Muncie and Mickey Fry of Lakey, Texas.
An infant daughter, Linda Lee (1951); a son, Harold L. Fry Jr. (1967); and a brother, Herbert Fry (1999) are deceased.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston.
Burial was in l.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brookston.
