Clara M. Sanbloom Fry, 88, formerly of R.2, Brookston, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at St Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. She had been a patient there since Wednesday.

She was born Sept. 5, 1902 to Gus Sanbloom and Mabel Colson, in Tippecanoe County. She was married March 9, 1927 to Lewis M. Fry, in Brookston. He is deceased.

She was a member of the Badger Grove Community Baptist Church, the missionary society and Merry Workers. She was a former member of Round Grove  Homemakers.

Survivors include two sons, Harold Fry, Brookston and Herbert Fry, Elwood; two brothers, John Sanbloom and Ernest Sanbloom both of Brookston; one sister, Mrs Hulda Nelson, Brookston; five grand- children; and eight great grand children also survive.

Besides the husband, one sister, one granddaughter and a grandson are deceased.

The funeral was today at Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston with the Rev Eugene parker and the Rev Bill Radcliffe officiating.

Burial was in the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, Brookston.
