Emmajean Williams Frick, 80, of Monticello died Monday, March 19, 2001 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born August 7, 1920 in Monon, the daughter of Alfred and Wright Hinkle Williams.
She married Harry D. Frick, Jr., in Monon on February 14, 1942. He died June 20,1991.
She was a 1937 graduate of Monon High School and had lived in White Co. all her life. She was a 1939 graduate of International Business College. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Monticello where she was Past President of the Presbyterian Women and the Care and Share Circle.
She was also involved in the White County Democratic Women. She was a tireless volunteer for the church, White Co. Historical Society, and the Monticello-Union Township Public Library. She was Bridge Club member and was also an avid fan and a devoted Democrat.
She is survived by a daughter, Lucy F. (Michael) Crawford of Louisville, KY.; two sons, Harry D. Frick III, Culver, IN., Fred W. (Elizabeth) Frick, MD of Indianapolis; six grandchildren and one sister; Joanne (Robert) Peters of Fort Wayne, In.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Monticello at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3,[sic] 2001, with Rev. Bruce Hurley officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following services at the church
Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home is in charge of the service.
