Betty J. Franklin, 65, Reynolds, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 20, in the emergency room of St Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born in Idaville, July 6, 1923, to Floyd and Bonnie Lee A. Holiday Boller. She was married to Floyd D. Franklin in Burnettsville, Feb. 2, 1945. He survives.

She had lived in Reynolds, since 1952 and was a member of the Reynolds Christian Church. She had been a waitress in various restaurants in Monticello.

Surviving with her husband are her mother, Bonnie Lee Rotruck, Monticello; two sons, Gale L of Harrogate, Tenn. and Dennis R. Winamac; two daughters, Carolyn J Wandrei, Brookston and Patricia A. Holeman, Reynolds; one brother, Jerry Boller, Monticello; one sister, Josephine Maroif, New Whiteland; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Miller Voorhis Funeral Home, Monticello with the Rev Donald Arterburn officiating.

Burial was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens at West Lafayette.
