Fannie Mae Foutch

Fannie Mae (Pittman) Foutch, 79, of Waynetown, a former Chalmers resident, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at her residence.

She was born in Montgomery County on October 31, 1923, to James Francis and Abbigal Lane Pittman. She married Thomas Adrian Foutch in Kentucky on December 28, 1940. He died on their Chalmers farm on July 23, 1988.

She was a homemaker and also helped on the family farm.

The Foutch family was host for the 1982 Farm Progress Show held on their Chalmers farm.

She was a member of the Wolcott Untied [sic] Methodist Church and attended Waynetown Baptist Church.

She was a member of Crawfordsville American Legion Auxiliary 72.

She moved from Chalmers to Waynetown in 1991.

Survivors include daughters-in-law Margaret Foutch of Chalmers and Colleen Homer of Monon; sister, Irene Beatrice West of Waynetown; grandchildren Brian, Craig and Shaun Foutc and Ann Hunt; and several great-grandchildren.

Sons, John and Ronnie Foutch; three brothers; and a sister are deceased.

Funeral services were at Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston on Saturday with Pastor Ed Maurer officiating.

Burial was at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brookston.

Memorials may be made to the Wolcott United Methodist Church or Waynetown Baptist Church.
