Adrian Foutch, 77, R.1, Cbalmers, died at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, July 23, in Home Hospital, Lafayette, where he had been admitted earlier in the day.
Mr Foutch had been engaged in farming at R.1, Chalmers, 39 years, but had farmed a total of 58 years. He and his family hosted the Farm Progress Show at Route 1 in 1982.
He was born May 17, 1911, in Benton County. His first marriage was to Mildred Louise Newton, who died in 1937. He later married Irma Ethel Smith, who died in 1939. On Dec. 28, 1940, he was married in Kentucky to Fannie Pittmen, who survives.
He was a Golden Eagle and a member of Eagles Lodge Aerie 347 in Lafayette. He also was a member of Crawfordsville Loyal Order of the Moose 8.
Surviving with the widow are a son, Ronnie A. Foutch, R.1, Chalmers, and one brother, Emory Foutch of Wolcott. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandson. Preceded in death by a son, John and a twin brother.
Service was in Hartzler Chapel in Brookston, Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev Ron Spyker officiating. Interment was in IOOF Cemetery, Brookston.
