Geneva Opal Foster, 85, of Monticello died Thursday, June 19, 2003, at White County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Monon on September 25, 1917, to Francis and Pearl Kellenburger Paris. She married Cecil Wayne Foster in New Jersey on January 16, 1942. He died on July 18, 1963.
She was a graduate of Reynolds High School in 1936.
She retired from K-Mart of Monticello after 22 years of service. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Guernsey Church of the Brethren.
She was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge of Monon.
Survivors include sons, Robert J. Foster of Monticello, Michael W. Foster of Glen Burnie, Md., and Richard A. Foster of Brookston; daughters, Donna M. Hermansen of Mesa, Ariz., and JoAnn Kiser of Chesterton; a sister, Audrey Hord of Canton, Ohio; 13 grandchldren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A brother and three sisters are deceased.
Funeral services were at the Guernsey Church of the Brethren on Monday with Rev. Dana Hood officiating. Kellogg Funeral Home was in charge of the service.
Burial was at Chapel Cemetery.
