Hazel E. Flynn, 75, of Chalmers, died Friday, March 5, 2004 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. She had been in failing health for two years.
She was born on January 23, 1929 in Holcomb, Mo. She married Oral Flynn at Lafayette on May 14, 1947. He survives.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking and her flowers.
She attended the Monticello Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Libby (Jerry) Culp and Lora "Maude" (Marvin) Walts of Brookston; a son, Daniel F. Flynn of Reynolds; a brother, Earl Parsons of Okeechobee, Fla., 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Oral E. "Fud" Flynn and Weldell R. Flynn; a granddaughter, Kayla Walts; a grandson, Jason Culp, great-grandson, Joseph Andrew Walts; three sisters and one brother are deceased.
Services were Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at Chalmers Community Cemetery.
