Richard Leo Faulknor, 82, Flora, died unexpectedly early Tuesday, September 29th.
He was born July 18, 1910 to James and Viola Reese Faulknor in Warren County. He married Eleanor Talkington on April 28, 1934 in Greenfield, and she survives.
He was a former iron worker and union member at Hammond and had lived in Indianapolis for several years. He retired in 1972. He lived in Tecumseh Bend in Carroll County from 1975 until December 1990 when he moved to Flora.
He was a member of Delphi Christian Church and attended the Flora Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Willard (Mildred) Burdine, Rt. 2, Brookston; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held today at 11 a.m. at IOOF Memorial Gardens, Delphi, the Rev. Robert J. Shaw officiated.
Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, was in charge of arrangements.
