Edna B. Farley, 95, of Monticello died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare.
She was born in Tompkinsville, KY on August 12, 1906, to Mordacai and Mary Jane Jackson Emberton. She married Troy B. Farley on December 25, 1927. He died on September 30, 1979.
She was a member of Sitka Baptist Church for many years. She was a Ladies Missionary Aide member, and also taught Sunday school at the church.
She enjoyed flowers, quilting and reading.
Survivors include a son, Bob E. (Mary Catherine) Farley of Brookston; a granddaughter, Susan C. (Stephen) Morris of Westerville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Three sisters and three brothers are deceased.
Funeral Services were August 3rd at Fisher-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Dr. James Elliott officiating. Burial was at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
