John E. England, 73, Sorrento, Florida, a native of Brookston, died Sunday, Nov. 23, in his home.
He was born June 30, 1918, in Brookston and had lived in Bloom field, Ind. before moving to Florida in 1966.
Mr England was a retired truck driver and had driven a truck for Floyd Cook at Otterbein, at one time. He also was a Golden Gloves boxer.
He recently received an award for being the best school crossing guard in Sorrento.
Surviving
are two daughters, Sharon Mathew, Fort Wayne and Martha East, Bloomington;
three sons, Edward England, Gerry England and Terry England, all of Bloomfield;
and a sister, Elizabeth
Gardner,
Lafayette.
There was a graveside service, Wednesday in Brookston.
