James Eisert

James Edward Eisert, 67, former Monon and Buffalo resident, died Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport.

He was born at Buffalo on January 17, 1937, the son of William Orman and Maxine Bernice (Kesler) Eisert. He married Helena M. Fox at Lafayette on June 12, 1985. She survives.

He retired from Ross Gear Manufacturing in Lafayette in 1988.

He spent most of his life in the Monon and Buffalo areas.

Other survivors include sons, Matthew E. Eisert and Scott A. (Karen) Eisert, both of Lafayette; daughter, Sunday (Hillard) Bunch of Lafayette; stepsons, Paul (Denise) Fox of Carmel and Mark (Laurie) Fox of Fort Wayne; stepdaughters, Veronica (Gary) Working of Peru and Elizabeth Ann (Gerald) Horban and Reine (Edward) Fisher, both of Elkhart; brother Bernard (Janie) Eisert of Buffalo; sister Shirley (Larry) Martin of Logansport; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Tuesday at the Kroeger Funeral Home in Logansport with Deacon Juan Rodrigues officiating. Burial was at St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Lucerne.
