Orbie J. Edwards, 65, Russellville, Alabama, died Friday, October 13, 2000 at a hospital in Alabama.

He was born in Alabama on July 4, 1935. He married Mary Alice Miller in Crown Point, IN on October 14, 1961.

Surviving with his wife are two sons, Thomas Burton (Vickee) Edwards and Jerry J. (Marla) Edwards, all of Hobart, IN; two daughters, Rosemary Doom of Alabama, and Cathy Jo (Mike) Fuller of Texas; four grandchildren, his mother , 3 sisters and two brothers in Alabama.

His father, 1 sister, his mother-in-law Alice (Clark) Miller and father-in-law Paul R. Miller are deceased.

Services were held October 15, 2000 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel, Tuscumbia, Alabama with Gregory Reynolds and Larry Broadhead officiating. Burial was in Tharptown Cemetery.
