Merl H. Dunk

Merl H. Dunk, 82, R.1, Delphi, died Sunday, Oct. 21, at Birchwood Manor, Delphi, where he had been a patient tor 11 months.

He was born Jan. 20, 1908, to Henry and Vina Peterson Dunk, in Tiippecanoe County. He was married May 13, 1966, to Georgia Pittser Johnson, in Lafayette. She survives.

He was a retired White County farmer. He was the night watchman at Peters-Revington Furniture Co. in Delphi, for eight years. He retired in 1973.

Survivors also include three stepsons, Harold Johnson, Jacksonville, Fla.; Elmer Johnson, R.2, Delphi and Charles Johnson, Rockfield; two stepdaughters, Colleen Forrest, Jacksonville, Fla., and Sharon Lee Vaughn; two sisters, Alice Gagnon, Brookston and Geneva Townsley, Lafayette; 16 stepgrandchildren; 32 step great grandchildren; and four step great great grandchildren. A brother is deceased.

The funeral was conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, with Pastor Arnold Raabe officiating.

Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
