Dorothy L. Duncan, 62, of Brookston died Thursday, January 24, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. She had been in failing health for 10 months battling Lymphoma.
She was born in Monticello on June 14, 1939, to Walter and Maude Randel Rogers. She married Dale E. Duncan at Monticello on August 21, 1959. He survives.
She attended Delphi High School and was a resident of Brookston for 35 years.
She had worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a Central Supply aid for 15 years, retiring in 1994. She worked at J & J Roadhouse in Brookston since 1995.
She was involved with Frontier Music and Athletic Boosters, Prairiette and Jefferson Township Extension Homemaker Clubs. She was also a 4-H mother, Dixon Dancing Parent and was an avid fan-supporter of Purdue Women's Basketball.
Other survivors include sons, Norman (Marge) Duncan of Lafayette, Daryl Duncan of Yeoman and Dean Duncan of Delphi; daughters, Cherie (Mark) Wilburn of Clermont and Carla Pickering of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren.
Services were at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, Monticello on Monday with The Rev. Dr. Lelan D. McReynolds officiating.
Burial was in Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
