Kenneth Dotson, Sr.

Kenneth E. Dotson, Sr., 69, of Buffalo died Monday, January 17, 2005, at Home Hospital, Lafayette.

He was born at St. Charles, VA on September 4, 1935, to Claude S. Sr and Lela Marie (Warwick) Dotson.

He married Connie Frye at Norton, VA on August 28, 1961. She survives.

He had lived in the Buffalo community since 1977, coming from Logansport

He and his family have owned and operated Dotson's Restaurant in Buffalo since moving there in 1977.

He had worked in the coal mines in Virginia prior to moving to Logansport.

He had lived in Logansport from 1965 to 1977.

While living in Logansport, Kenneth worked at RBM Controls for l5 years.

He loved shooting and playing poker.

Other survivors include daughters Ann (Jeff) Johnson and Christie Tribbett, all of Buffalo; son Kenneth E. Jr. (Nicole) Dotson of Buffalo; grandchl1dren, Kimberly Dotson, Mitchell Johnson, Devin and Candice Dotson, all of Buffalo; sisters, Bessie McArthur of Huntsville, Ala., Ruby (Jack) Isom of Monticello, Shir1ey Franklin of Logansport, Margie (John) Proffit of Kingsport and Loretta Isom of Monticello; hrothers, Claude Jr. (Gertie) Isom of Wabash, several nieces and nephews.

Son, Michael S. Dotson; grandson, Michael Lloyd; infant sister, Frances Dotson; sister Sue Greear; and brother Glenn A. Dotson are deceased.

Funeral services were Friday, January 21 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home with Greg Nydegger officiating.
