He was born October 20, 1906 in Urbana, IL the son of Daniel and Belle Kirby Dillman. His marriage was to Gertrude E. Luttrell on May 17, 1934 in Danville, IL. She died Deccmber 4, 1993.
Mr. Dillman was a retired dairy farmer and milk hauler for 50 years, hauling milk to Dean's Foods.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Winamac. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and being with his family, and remained active throughout his 93 years. He had lived in Winamac since 1955, coming from Logansport.
Survivors include a daughter Sandra (Bill) Goble, Winamac and a son Richard (Patty) Dillman of Monon. He had 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the Frain Mortuary in Winamac on Thursday, Apnl 6, 2000 at 11:00 a m with William Mathys officiating. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. on Thursday at Frain Mortuary.
Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens, Winamac.
