Lena J. Dickinson

Lena J. Dickinson, 60, Francesville, died Friday, July 17, at her residence.

She was born June 13, 1938, to Lloyd and Maxine Vance Cain, in Fortville.  She was married August 11, 1962, to Roger Dickinson, in Frankton and he survives.

She was a 1956 graduate of Frankton High School and attended business college and Ball State University.

She had resided in Francesville for 20 years.

She was a homemaker and also served as church secretary at the First Christian Church for eight years.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Francesville and was active in church activities, Bible school and church programs.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Rana Rodeffer of Mooreland and RaeJeanne Boehning of Francesville, a son, Ryan of Winamac; her mother, Maxine Cane of Anderson; three sisters, Janet Stout of Alaska, Connie Meredith of Lapel and Beverly Oliver of California; five brothers, Ronnie Cain, Garry Cain, Randy Cain and Danny Cain, all of Anderson and Kim Cain of Indianapolis and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday at the First Christian Church, Francesville, with Jim Ketchen and Larry Music officiating.

Burial was in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.  Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home, Francesville, was in charge.

Memorials may be given to the West Central Schools Education Foundation or the First Christian Church Scholarship Fund.
