T. Delbert Dickey

T. Delbert Dickey, 67, Rt. 2 Brookston, died Thursday, June 30, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Lafayette. where he had been a patient since June 25.

He was bron in Kokomo on May 27, 1927 to Cyril E, and Naomi Marie Gillespie Dickey and his father lives in Tallahassee, FL. He married Bonnie Kay Cobbs in Americus on November 26, 1985. She survives.

He was an operation engineer for Fauber Construction for 40 years, retiring in October 1989.

He attended school is Forrest.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post No. 75, Operating Engineers Local 103 in Kokomo for 42 years and the Moose Lodge in Cape Coral, FL.

Surviving with his wife and father are one son, Delbert C. Dickey Jr. of Lafayette; one daughter Donna M. Kibbe of Fort Myers, FL; two stepsons John D. and Bill L. Disinger, both of Lafayette, four stepdaughters, Terry Moss and Tammy Gray, both of Lafayette, Debra Dillon of Camden and Penny Walker of Matlacha, one brother, Carl Bufford Dickey of Ottawa, OH; one sister Gerladine Edwards of Tallahassee, FL; and 12 stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-grandson.

The funeral was Sunday, July 3, at Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, the Rev. Gary Miller officiated.

Burial was in Battle Ground Cemetery.
