Karen A. Deloria, 52, of Monticello died Friday, September 27, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
She was born in Logansport on August 22, 1950 to Everett Sigman and Fuschia "Rose" Fraser. She married Terry "Ted" E. Deloria on March 23, 1980 in Monticello. He survives.
She had lived in the Monticello community most of her life and attended Twin Lakes High School.
She was an active member of the Monticello Christian Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, chairperson of the deaconess, leader of Junior Youth Fellowship and several other committees within the church.
She was a sales support specialist for business banking at the Bank One of Indianapolis N/A in Lafayette.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and bowling.
Survivors include her husband, mother and step-father, Fuschia and Monroe Heglin of Monticello; three sons, Doug Sass of Monticello, Tracey Deloria of Monticello and Don (Cheryl) Sass of Missouri; three daughters, Beth Cook of Independence, Wisc., Teri (Brad) Bucher of Daleville, and Angela (Chad) Pancake of Monticello; one sister Vicki (Vern) Dishon of Monticello and two brothers, Bill Flora of Monticello and Doug Huddleston of Oklahoma.
She had 18 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A grandson is deceased.
Funeral services were at the Monticello Christian Church on Monday with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Burial was at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in Monticello.
Miller Roscka Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
