Gladys A. Dill Davisson, 88, a former Chalmers resident, died Saturday, March 18, at the Brethren healthcare Center in Flora.

She was born August 24, 1911, to Benjamin F. and Nellie B. Talbutt Dill, in White County. She was married Dec. 25, 1932 to George Davisson, in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1987.

She graduated from Monticello High School in 1930.

She lived at Brethren Home since October 1990, moving from Chalmers.

She was a member of the Chalmers Community Church. She was a member of Wea Lea Chapter of the American Revolution.

She is survived by daughter, Judy (Robert) Struggles of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; son, Steve (Sue) Davisson of Garfield, Ark.; and nine grandchildren.

Four brothers, two sisters and a grandson are deceased.

Funeral service was Tuesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Rev. Bill Henderson officiating.

Burial was in Chalmers Community Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
