Kathleen Stockton Davis, 80, formerly of Brookston, died at midnight Saturday, Sept.30 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Lafayette.

She was born July 17, 1915 in Celina,TN to John Mike and Vennie Boyles Stockton.  She married Andrew Davis in Celina, TN on March 4, 1941. He died July 8, 1973.

She lived at Rt. 2, Brookston from 1957 until 1980. She moved to Farrington Apartments in Lafayette and for the past two years she has been a patient at Regency Place.

She retired from Jessup Paper Box in Brookston in 1979.

She was a member of the West Lafayette Church of Christ.

Surviving are two sons, Charles W. of Scottsburg and Eddie R. of Winchester, KY; one daughter,
Mrs. Kenneth (Sharlene) Allen of Lafayette; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and three sisters are deceased.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Upton Funeral Home, Celina, TN, Larry Curry officiated. There was visitation on Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston.

Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery, Moss, TN.
