Elmo Davis
Elmo Davis, 84, of Buffalo, died Saturday, July 16, 2005 at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis.
He was born February 23, 1921 in Niagara, Wisc., the son of Ray and Lola Benham Davis.
He graduated from Royal Center High School in 1940.
A retired mechanic, he was a life member of the VFW Post 1728 in Winamac, Ind. He served in the U. S. Army in Europe during World War II.
He attended the Buffalo Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are two brothers, Isadore Davis of Winamac and Wilfred Davis of LaPorte, his companion Phyllis Connell of Buffalo and three nieces, Mary Jane Connell, Barbara Jean Earhart and Nancy Eastman[.]
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Graveside Military Memorial Services are Saturday, July 30th at 10:30 a.m. at the Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville, Ind[.] with Rev. Chuck Remillett officiating.
