Cora Whisler Davis, 93, Reynolds, died Thursday, July 9, in Fairview Village Nursing Center, Lewisberry, Pennsylvania.

She was born Feb. 7, 1894, in White County, to George and Lidia Powell Whisler. She was married to Lee Davis, who died Jan. 23, 1969.

She graduated from Cook Co. School of Nursing in 1914. She was a member of Reynolds Christian Church. She and her husband also lived in. the Brookston and Chalmers areas.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Ellen Petroskie of New Cumberland, Penn. with whom she had lived the past 13 years; one son, Marion Davis of Black Canyon City, Arizona; eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. One son is deceased.

The funeral was conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with Todd List officiating.

Burial was in the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery in Brookston.
