Joseph K. Daniels, 72, Lafayette, formerly of Delphi, died Thursday, Feb. 27, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, where he was admitted Wednesday.
He was born Dec. 3, 1919, to Jesse and Cora Peterson Daniels, in Carroll County. He was married Aug. 7, 1911, to Malvina Righi Goyer, in Lafayette, and she survives.
He graduated from Delphi High School in 1938.
He worked at Alcoa in Lafayette, for 37 years and retired in 1975. He was a member of Alcoa Retfrees Club and the 25 year club at Alcoa. Also he was a member of the Congress Street United Methodist Church, Lafayette.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Jerry L., Syracuse; two stepsons, David W. Goyer, Logansport and Hitchie N. Goyer, Brookston; eight grandchildren and one great grandson.
The funeral was Monday at Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, with the Rev. Jean M. Brindel officiating.
Burial was in Zion Cemetery, Flora.
