Kathleen Strantz Dangler

Kathleen "Kathy" Strantz Dangler, 44, Chalmers, died Sunday, Oct. 21, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. She had been a patient since Oct 15 and in failing health for 2 years.

She was born Nov. 9, 1945, to William A. and Jean Bird Strantz, in County-Durham, England. She was married June 17, 1966, to John C.Dangler, in Lafayette. He survives.

She was a graduate of Logansport High School in 1964 and was employed at Purdue in the teacher education services as a certification advisor.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.

Surviving with her husband are her mother, Mrs Jean Hornback and her stepfather Jim Hornback, both of Phoeniz, Arizona; her father and stepmother, Nancy, Logansport; three brothers, William Strantz Jr and Dan Strantz, both of Phoenix and Gayvin Strantz, Monticello; one sister, Mrs Randy (Angie) Conklin, Logansport; one half-sister, Noelle Strantz, Logansport; and grandmother, Mrs Catherine Strantz, Lafayette.

The funeral was Wednesday in Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, the Rev. James Goodrum officiating. The Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston was in charge of the service.

Inurnment was Thursday, in Chalmers Community Cemetery.
