Fred E. Cummings, Jr., 62, of Kokomo died Friday, November 23, 2001 in St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born in Chicago, Ill the son of Fred F. and Pearl (Moncel) Cummings, Sr. His marriage was to Mabel G. Wildoner in Roann, IN on June 28, 1987. She survives.
He graduated from Monon High School in 1958 and retired from Delco in Kokamo June 1, 2001 after 35½ years.
He was a 25-year member of Eagles Lodge 323 in Logansport; Moose Lodge 232 Logansport and UAW 292, Kokomo. He enjoyed fishing and repairing things. Surviving besides his wife are his mother, Pearl Graves, Monon; a son Timothy (Pam) Cummings, Indianapolis; two daughters Pamela Cummings, Walton, IN and Tammy Rombold, Kokomo; two step-sons Mike Miller, Roann and Toni Miller, Dallas, TX.
Also surviving are two brothers, Dale Cummings, Linden, IN and Elbert Cummings, Elkhart, IN. He had 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon with burial in Bedford Cemetery.
