Glenn Willard Culver, 82, of Brookston, died Tuesday, February 25, 2003, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.
He was born in Tippecanoe County on January 27, 1921, to Willard T. and Katherine Chase Culver. He married Doris Helen Roark at Badger Grove on September 4, 1941. She died April 1, 1998.
He was a 1939 graduate of Chalmers High School and attended Wabash College.
He farmed all of his life and retired in 1984.
He was a member of Chalmers Community Church.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include sons, Bryan (Jane) Culver of Clay City, Eric (Barbara) Culver of Chalmers, Mark (Bonnie) Culver of New Castle, Phillip (Debbie) Culver of Washington and John (Gina) Culver of Chalmers; brothers Ray (Juanita) Culver and Ivan "Red" (Agnes) both of Chalmers; a sister Marjorie (Howard) Zarse of Chalmers; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at the Hartzler Funeral Home on Friday with Pastor Bill Henderson officiating.
Burial was at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
