Clyde C. Culp

Clyde C. CuIp, 76, of Monticello. died Sept. 8, at his residence. He had been ill for two years.

He was born May 10, 1922, to Roy and Martha Clark Culp, in Jasper County. He was married in 1942, to Marjorie W. Gerbracht Culp, in Monon, and she survives.

He graduated in 1940 from Monon High School, and lived most of his life in White County. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, and served in South West Pacific Theatre.

He was employed at Rensselaer and Monon Stock Yards as a hog buyer and retired after 25 years.

He had worked for the Department of Natural Resources and had retired after 11 1/2 years of service. He also had been employed with Terra Fertilizer, Francesville. retiring after 10 years of employment.

He was a member of Lee United Methodist Church.

He was a life member of Monticello V.F.W.

Survivors along with his wife are two daughters, Connie Shannon Culp, both of Motion; two sons, Darrell of Francesville and Mickey of Decatur; a brother, Keith of Monticello; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A brother and grandson are deceased.

Graveside services were Sept. 10 at Osborne Cemetery, Rensselaer, with the Rev/ Sid Lehmen officiating.

Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be given to St. Elizabeth Hospice or the Leukemia Foundation.
