Phyllis Beasey Crissinger

Phyllis Beasey Crissinger, 64, formerly of Monon, died Tuesday, July 12, at the home of her daughter in Monon. She had been in failing health for seven months.

She was born March 23, 1930 in Monon to Oscar Lewis and Sadie Frances Taylor Pauley. Her first marriage was to Luther Beasey, who died August 15, 1984. Her second marriage was August 17, 1986 to Robert L. Crissinger, who survives.

She was a homemaker and had been living in Florida since leaving Monon in 1979.

Surviving with her husband are one son, Terry L. Beasey of Reynolds; three daughters, Jeneen L. Sparks of Monon, Lois Runk of Brookston, and Mara L. Beasey of Alpine, CA; one stepson, Kenneth L. Crissinger of Wheeling. IL; four sisters, Evalyn Barnard of Monon, Janice Linback of Lafayette, Sonja Parsley of Logansport, and Sharon Cummings of Linden; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Three brothers are deceased.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 14, in Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, with Rev. George Thomson officiating.

Burial was in Bedford Cementery, Monon.
