Phyllis E. Crawford, 71, of Monon, died Tuesday, March16th at Rensselaer Care Center.

She was born in Francesville on May 14, 1927 to George H. and Myrtle Quadlin Blunk. She married Gordon C. Crawford. He died May 23, 1988.

She had resided in the Monon community most of her life.

She was a homemaker and a professional quilter. She was also employed at Indiana Ribbon in Wolcott for several years.

She was a member of Monon United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Virginia "Jinny" Wiley of Monon; a son, Carl Crawford, Jr of Port Lavaca, Texas; two brothers, Charles Blunk and George H. Blunk, both of Monon; six grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday at Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, with the Rev William Kehlhofer officiating.

Burial was in Osborne Cemetery, Rensselaer.
