Nora V. Crawford, 94, of 310 N. Arch Street, Monon died Saturday,May 15, 1999 if Rensselaer Care Center. She had been a resident there for the past two years.

Born April 3, 1905 in Seafield, Indiana, she was the daughter of Henry and Alice Fleming Swygman.

She graduated from Wolcott High School in 1922.

She married Thomas R. Crawford on December 24, 1925 in Monticello. He died July 27, 1977.

A homemaker, she had lived in White County all her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monon, Monon Town & Country Home Ec Club, Monon Euchre Club, and Buellah Dell Ladies Circle.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Blunk of Monon and. Margaret Dickmander of Ligonier. She had 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services were Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home with rev Steve Birch officiating. Burial was in Monon Cemetery.
