Walter D. Cox, 58, of Francesville died Monday, November 3, 2003 in White County Hospital, Monticello, after suffering a heart attack while working on a roof in Monon.

He was born March 24, 1945, in Ooodland. He lived in Francesville for 24 years.

He was a construction handyman.

Surviving are two sons, Dewey (Shirley) Cox of Francesville and Ronald (Tina) Cox of Rensselaer, two daughters, Lovella Harrison of Frankfort and Trina (Steven) Babcock of Wolcott; four brothers, Ed Cox of Monon, Ronnie Cox of Remington, Robert Cox and Dale Cox, both of Farmer City, Ill; and four sisters, Joyce of Bernet, Ill., Helen of Tracy, Tenn., Diane of Denver, Colo., and Peggy of Salem, Ky.

Funeral services were Friday at Francesville.
