Una Bailey Conley, 81, of Monon died Monday, February 21, 2005 at White County Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 15, 1923 in Salyersville, Ky., to Eva (Wireman) and Kelley Mullins.
She moved to Indiana in 1957 and had lived in Monon since 1990.
She attended school in Salyersville and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the United Baptist Church of Gilliam Township at Bailey's Corner.
Her first marriage was to Alvin Bailey in Salyersville, Ky, in 1939. He died in 1968. She then married Lester Conley at Rensselaer, Ind., in 1972. He died in 1982.
Survivors include eight daughters, Mabel Bailey, Mary Ann Sanders of Fowler, Betty Bailey of Indianapolis, Carolyn Sue Balchunas of North Manchester, Janice Williams of Monon, Jacqueline Wireman of Monticello, Patricia Lynn (Daryl) Haworth of Milwaukee, Wise.; a son, Roger (Jackie) Bailey of Murray, Ky.; guardian grandchildren Billie Jo and Teresa Ann; son-in-law, Richard Sanders of Wheatfield; 27 grandchilden, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Alvin Bailey, Jr., a daughter Marie Sanders, granddaughter Melissa Wireman and grandson, Timothy O. Bruce.
Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Chapel in Rensselaer from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday[.]
Funeral services will be Thursday, at United Baptist Church of Gilliam Township with Pastor James Rowe officiating.
Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery, Medaryville.
