Helen A. (Miller) Clymer, 81, of Battle Ground died Saturday, February 9, 2002 at Home Hospital in Latbyette.
She was born at Battle Ground on May 16, 1920, the daughter of Ulna G. and Myrtle Wesner Miller. She married Phillip R. Clymer on November 26, 1939. He survives.
She had lived in the Battle Ground community most of her life. She graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1938.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Battle Ground United Methodist Church. She was active in the United Methodist Women. She sang in the choir and was a former Sunday School teacher.
She enjoyed music, reading, flower gardening and traveling.
She wintered for several years in Lakeland, FL.
Other survivors include a son, Larry (Donna) Clymer of Anderson; daughters Cherly (Jerry) Searcy, Huntington Beach, CA and Cynthia (Don) Brown of Battle Ground.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Hartzler Funeral Home with Rev. Tammy Mills officiating. Cremation followed the service and inurnment will be at a later date at the Battle Ground Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Battle Ground United Methodist Church or to the charity of choice.
